Mastering your Mind, Body & Soul
This month we continue our three part Menopause Series: Mastering your Mind, Body & Soul.
We are excited to welcome, Sandra Ishkanes.
Sandra Ishkanes, is a functional medicine practitioner with a background in molecular biology and social anthropology. She supports women to reimagine their relationship with their bodies, cycles and hormones; empowering them to take control of their health and their lives. Working like a health detective, the mysteries she solves are the complex health issues of women’s hormonal imbalances; symptoms are her clues.
Sandra is currently writing a book that explores how women can achieve optimal health during menopause. Addressing the root causes of menopausal symptoms, it highlights ways to maximise the enormous life advantages that menopause brings. This book will provide a comprehensive and practical guide for women navigating this transformative phase of life, delving into its purpose and spirit whilst offering a practical focus on nutrition, lifestyle and supplements. Sandra believes in the unending ability of our bodies to heal themselves, and has an understanding of the science of how to make that happen.

This month we complete our three part Menopause Series: Mastering your Mind, Body & Soul. We are excited to welcome, Kate Rowe-Ham.
Kate Rowe-Ham is a Women's Health Coach with a particular interest in menopause fitness and nutrition; the founder of Owning Your Menopause and author of the bestseller Owning Your Menopause: Fitter, Calmer, Stronger in 30 Days.
Kate is passionate about educating women on how to exercise and nourish their bodies at this time. As a trusted expert in her field, Kate has become the ‘go-to’ Personal Trainer known for her specialised approach to ensuring women get the correct evidence-based information on how to train effectively and nourish their bodies through menopause. She believes that so many women miss out on optimising their midlife and menopause experience due to not understanding how to adapt their lifestyle during this phase.

Founded by Sandra Peat and Natasha Serlin, Grace + Fire embodies the balance between acknowledging where you are in life (Grace) and reigniting the passion and drive within you (Fire). It's not a destination, but a journey of self-discovery and empowerment for women navigating the complexities of midlife.

Grace + Fire's Purpose Workshop is a transformative experience.
Guided by our experienced facilitators, it is carefully designed for midlife women to reconnect with their values, reignite their passions, unlock their authentic purpose, and chart an inspired path forward.
On this nurturing day of reflection, connection and exploration, you'll engage in powerful exercises, share stories with like-minded women and have the opportunity to be present in your body. You'll leave feeling recharged, refocused and ready to embrace the next chapter with renewed energy and clarity.
Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed or simply yearning for more purpose and joy, these workshops are the ideal space to uncover your innate grace and fire.
Meet the Team
Sandra Peat and Natasha Serlin are the Co- Founders of Grace + Fire

Sandra Peat
Sandra is a brand strategist and executive coach by trade.
In her 40s Sandra was diagnosed with breast cancer and made redundant at her work. These life challenges prompted her to re-evaluate her life and her definition of success. This led Sandra to realise that she needed to reframe what brought her fulfilment. It sparked an incredible journey of self-discovery, and a desire to create something meaningful that could help other women facing similar midlife challenges.

Natasha Serlin
Natasha is an acclaimed ex-BBC documentary maker.
As a film-maker Natasha was well-known for capturing heartfelt stories reflecting personal growth, but in recent years, after the loss of a parent, she turned her focus to her own journey, exploring Art and Shamanism and training as a yoga teacher.
These explorations (alongside cold-water swimming) all contributed to her ability to successfully navigate a challenging divorce and emerge stronger than ever.
Natasha is passionate about supporting women in mid-life, sharing the insights she has gained, and through Grace + Fire she aims to inspire women to reclaim their joy and purpose.
